20,000 IU quickly reduces mouth/skin sores. Reduces gum pain. Take 5000 IU daily.

It took me a long while to realize how important this was to my health, because I didn't notice differences quickly (it takes awhile for D to build up a store in the body). But mood improvements, weight dropped off FAR more easily - less hungry, more easily satisfied by food.

Dr recommends 4000iu in winter and 2000iu in summer.

VItamin D support so many health issues so I think most everyone can benefit from it.

It made no difference. Even at 5000 IU/day.

Using 2000 units twice a day, and I don't know that there's any affect at all. Clinically, my vitamin D levels were normal.

I haven't been able to tolerate any Vitamin D supplement. They overstimulate my immune system. However, I've had no problems with sunshine or a Vitamin D lamp.
