Provides energy, wakes me up. Helps recovery from crash. I add it to my adrenal cocktails 2-3 times a day. Not in the evening as it keeps me awake. I use a 1ml scoop per cocktail.

For a period, foods rich in fatty acids made my ME symptoms worse. A quarter tsp of ALC completely blocked that effect. Eventually (many months) the problem with fats went away. ALC didn't provide any other benefits.

Combined with creatine 2g of ALCAR makes a huge difference for me. Splitting the dose, morning and night, helped with anxiety and GI side effects.

I took 1 capsules, 2 times a day. I started to take it when I was first diagnosed (however, I did take lots of other supplements not just this), I was 30/40 on CFS ability scale. I stopped it after about 6 months, at that point I was 60 on the scale. I stopped it because I did further research and decided to refocus and change things. I am now 70/80 on the scale.

I take a quarter teaspoon twice a day (breakfast and lunch). It tastes horrible so I mix it with a spoon of jam.

It has made a huge difference. Most days I wasn't even able to get dressed, but I now have a bit of a life. I'm not cured, and still need lots of rest, but I wouldn't do without it. I also take d-ribose, so it might be a combination of the two.
