I take Calcium Citrate regularly, but not for CFS/ME; my gynecologist recommended it long ago as a way to prevent UTIs. It seems to help for that and of course it is useful as a preventative for osteoporosis as well.

1,000 mg/day. Helped a bit with joint pain, but hurt with more frequent migraines.

Makes my muscles twitch and cramp, even though dairy helps.

This made the tiredness 10 times worse and it made me smell funny. I also think it made my skin spottier. I only took 300mg by adding a 1/4 tsp calcium carbonate powder to my food.
